A placement puzzle with stars and regions
If you want a placement puzzle with stars and regions, that is Star Battle. The board is a square grid split into as many regions as it has rows. You place one star in every row, every column, and every region. Stars cannot touch, even at a corner.
On DIGIGMA the live boards are 6×6 and 8×8, one star. Tap a cell to cycle empty, star, and dot. A dot means the cell is empty. The region shapes are the only clue. There is only one way to place the stars.
Start on 6×6 Beginner. Finish a region or a line, and give each star its eight neighbours as space. You do not need to guess.
